Mr Beem has over two decades of experience in the financial sector in Latin America, holding CEO, CIO, and portfolio manager. Most recently, he served as the country head / CEO for Uruguay at the EFG Bank Rep Offices in Montevideo and Punta del Este. He began his career in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Prior to joining EFG Oficina de Representacion, he was a senior member of the portfolio management team for EFG Asset Management in Miami, Matthew was also an investment counselor for EFG Capital, where he advised clients on a non-discretionary basis. He has also previously held several positions in Miami-based private banks, including Citi Private Bank, where he made asset allocation decisions for HNW portfolios.
