    About Vita Group

    Vita Group Ltd. engages in the sale of technology and communication products and services solutions. The firm provides its solutions through its retail store brands, Telstra, Fone Zone, One Zero and Next Byte and through its enterprise, business and education channels in Australia. It operates through the following segments: Telecommunications and Computing. The Telecommunications segment comprises mobile phones and related products and services as well as third party voice and data services. The Computing segment comprises laptop and desktop computers, associated accessories and peripheral equipment as well as service and rental contracts. The company was founded by David Lawrence McMahon and Maxine Joan Horne on January 3, 1995 and is headquartered in Albion, Australia.

    Ms Horne has more than 35 years experience in business, including strategy development and execution, leadership, operations, sales, customer service, marketing, and product development. Since founding Vita Group in 1995, Maxine has guided the growth and evolution of the Group, expanding the business from a single store to a national publicly listed company. As founder and CEO, she leads the leadership team and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Group, including operational leadership of the company's skin-health and wellness channel. Her focus is on achieving results through the development of Vita's people and culture. Maxine has received several awards and honours throughout her career, including the Courier Mail Business Person of the Year in 2019, induction into the Businesswoman's Hall of Fame in 2016, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Northern Region) in 2014, QBR Business Woman of the Year in 2006 and the President's Award at the NSW Australian Retail Association Awards for Excellence in 2005. Maxine is also an active Ambassador for Act for Kids.
