    About Resolute Mining Ltd

    Resolute Mining Ltd is an Australia-based gold producer. Its principal activities include gold mining, prospecting, and exploration of minerals. The company organizes its operations into business divisions, namely Mako (Senegal), and Syama(Mali). It generates the majority of its revenue from the Syama (Mali) segment. Syama is a robust, long-life asset comprising an underground mine and associated sulfide processing circuit, along with satellite open pit operations that provide ore feed to a separate oxide processing circuit. Mako is a high-quality, open-pit gold mine.

    Mr Wray has experience in the resource sector in senior corporate roles, as an investor and as an advisor. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of La Mancha, one of the direct investors in the mining sector, from January 2018, including non-executive Board roles with Golden Star as well as Evolution Mining. From 2010 to 2017, Mr. Wray held roles with Acacia Mining Plc, a UK listed FTSE250 company and one of the African gold producers, including Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to 2017. Before joining Acacia, Mr Wray worked in investment banking with JPMorgan Cazenove, where he advised a range of clients in the resources sector. Mr Wray is Independent Non-Executive Director of Hochschild Mining PLC (appointed 2025).     Ms Shugg is Chair of the Sustainability Committee. She has over 30 years' experience involving senior operational roles with leading mining and consulting organisations including Normandy, Newcrest, and KPMG. Ms Shugg has experience in senior roles with mining and consulting organisations including operations management experience at senior site level covering both underground and open pit environments. Ms Shugg's work has a people focus, together with a solid project management background. Ms Shugg recently completed a four year term as the Director of the Kalgoorlie Campus for Curtin University - WA School of Mines with a focus on industry engagement and taking mining education into a digital future. Concurrently she served a three year term as Chair of Goldfields Esperance Development Commission.
