About Nufarm Ltd
Nufarm Ltd (ASX: NUF) is an Australian agricultural chemical and seed technology company with a large global market. Nufarm develops, manufactures, and markets a range of crop-protection products, including herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
Nufarm has two business segments: crop protection and seed technology. The company operates primarily in the off-patent segment of the crop-protection market. It develops and produces formulations in 11 manufacturing plants globally, selling to more than 100 countries covering most of the world's major agricultural regions.
Its seed technology business develops crop characteristics under its 'Value Beyond Yield' strategy. Nufarm distributes high-yielding sunflower, sorghum, and canola seed to customers in more than 30 countries.
