    About Nickel Industries Ltd

    Nickel Industries Ltd (ASX: NIC) is a producer of nickel pig iron, a key ingredient in stainless steel. It is also engaged in exploring, mining, acquiring, and developing nickel projects globally.

    The company holds an 80% interest in the Hengjaya Nickel and Ranger Nickel projects, both of which operate 2 line Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace production plants in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Nickel Industries also holds an 80% economic interest in the Hengjaya Mineralindo Nickel Mine in Sulawesi.

    It also has an 80% interest in the Angel Nickel operation near Jakarta, Indonesia and a 70% interest in the Oracle Nickel development project, also in Sulawesi.

    In 2022, the company changed its name to Nickel Industries Ltd from Nickel Mines Ltd to reflect its transition from exploration and mining operations to nickel production.

    Mr. Crombie held positions with DeBeers Consolidated Mines and the Anglo American Corporation in South Africa and Angola between 1980 and 1986. He spent the next thirteen years as a Mining Analyst and Investment Banker with Shepards, Merrill Lynch, James Capel & Co. and finally with Yorkton Securities. Mr Crombie was the Vice President, Corporate Development of Hope Bay Mining Corporation Inc. from February 1999 through May 2002 and President and CEO of Ariane Gold Corp. from August 2002 to November 2003. Mr Crombie was President, CEO and a director of Palmarejo Silver and Gold Corporation until the merger with Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, one of the silver companies, in December 2007.
