About Base Resources
Base Resources Ltd (ASX: BSE) is an Australian mineral sands producer with operations in Africa. The company operates the Kwale Mineral Sands Project in Kenya. In 2018, it acquired the Toliara Sands Project in Madagascar where studies on the site are currently underway. The project has environmental approval.
The Kwale site began production in late 2013 and generates revenue from the sale of rutile, ilmenite, and zircon. The Kwale operation currently accounts for around 65% of Kenya's mineral output value.
