Brazilian Rare Earths Ltd is an Australian-based company focused on exploring rare earth elements and other critical minerals in Brazil. The company owns and operates a district-scale Tier One Rare Earths Province, located in North EasternBrazil. The company has a project named Rocha da Rocha Critical Minerals which represents one of the exciting critical minerals discoveries globally. The company has two segments namely Brazil exploration and Corporate, of which it derivesmaximum revenue from Brazil Exploration.

Prior to founding BRE, Dr da Veiga spent the last decade in senior leadership roles in a number of mining companies in Brazil, including as CEO of a producing tungsten mine, Managing Director of a gold exploration company and from 2015 to 2021 CEO of South American Ferro Metals Limited, a privately owned iron ore producer that grew from a bankrupt business in 2015 producing c.700ktpa when Bernardo took over as CEO to a profitable company producing c.2.05Mtpa in 2021.
