Mr Duke has spent all his working life in the retail sector. After leaving school in Adelaide, he commenced work with retailers in South Australia before moving to Waltons in Sydney in 1980. From 1981 to 1988 he held the positions of NSW Manager of Homecraft / Eric Anderson Stores, a senior merchandise executive for Grace Brothers then MD of Norman Ross. In September 1988, Rod was appointed MD of Briscoes (NZ), at that time a subsidiary of Hagemeyer of the Netherlands, with a mandate of returning the company to profitability and preparing it for sale. In 1996 Rod established, and in subsequent years expanded, the Rebel Sport chain of sporting goods stores in NZ as a business within the Briscoe Group.

Mr Batterton has more than 20 years private equity and investment banking experience in New Zealand with Evergreen Partners and Direct Capital, and in London with HSBC Investment Bank. Tony is currently a Partner and Executive Director of Evergreen Partners and a Non-Executive Director of various Direct Capital entities, forestry services manager PF Olsen, commercial property investor George H Investments and NZ Fine Touring Group. He is Chair of Risk Committee.

Mr Coupe is a director who has had more than 30 years of experience in investment banking. He is Chairman of Television New Zealand and a director of NZX listed companies Gentrack Group, Kingfish, Barramundi, and Marlin Global. He is also Chair of the New Zealand Takeovers Panel. He Chairs Human Resource Committee and is a member of the Risk committee.
