    Yes, ARG has paid shareholders dividends every year since being established more than 75 years ago. Argo generates revenue primarily from dividends and distributions received from the companies within its portfolio. The majority of that income is paid out to shareholders as fully franked dividends.

    Historically, Argo pays a fully franked interim dividend in February each year, and a final dividend in August

    Argo Investments was established in 1946 and first listed on the ASX in 1963.

    Founded in 1946, Argo Investments Limited (ASX: ARG) is a listed investment company (LIC) headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia.  The company has a diversified portfolio of more than 90 ASX-listed companies.

    Argo has a market capitalisation of over $6 billion, placing it within the S&P/ASX 100 Index (ASX: XTO). It invests more than $6 billion on behalf of more than 93,000 shareholders.

    The LIC aims to provide shareholders with long-term growth as well as reliable dividend income.

    The LIC also manages Argo Global Listed Infrastructure Ltd (ASX: ALI), which provides investors with the opportunity to invest in listed securities within the global infrastructure sector. Some of the fund’s holdings include international airports, roads, utilities, and satellites.
