About Audio Pixels Holdings Ltd
Audio Pixels Holdings Ltd (ASX: AKP) develops sound reproduction technology. The company says its patented technology generates sound waves from digital audio streams using small electro-mechanical structures. According to the company, this will give it the ability to produce low-cost digital speaker microchips around one millimetre thick that will offer vastly better sound quality than conventional speaker technologies.
Audio Pixels says, in practical terms, it will allow audio speakers to follow the evolution of the video display market from large, heavy analog tube-based monitors to modern digital flat-panel displays.
Its technology is not yet at the operational stage. The company operates in both Australia and Israel.
