About Alpha HPA Ltd
Alpha HPA Ltd (ASX: A4N) is an Australian mining company specialising in high purity alumina (HPA). HPA is a key component of lithium-ion batteries, LED lighting, and has other essential commercial applications.
Central to the business is the development of the company's new Gladstone-based HPA First Project in Queensland where the company will produce a range of low-carbon footprint HPA products. These will be created through Smart SX Technology, a process that extracts aluminium with pinpoint accuracy.
In 2021, the company divested its Collerina aluminium-nickel-cobalt project near Cobar in central New South Wales to focus on its Gladstone HPA operations.
