    About The a2 Milk Co Ltd

    A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX: A2M) is a fresh milk and infant formula company that sources, produces and supplies a2 brand milk and milk-related products in Australia and globally.

    The Company was founded in 2000 in New Zealand by scientist Dr Corran McLachlan and Howard Paterson.

    The company produces fresh cows' milk that naturally contains the A2 protein type and no A1 protein. Some research suggests the A1 protein can cause digestion issues.

    Mr Dempsey brings financial, strategic and commercial experience to the Board through his career in investment banking and CFO roles held at ASX50 listed companies. Grant commenced his career as an auditor before spending time in business development at Bank of Melbourne and General Electric. Grant then gained experience in investment banking, initially at UBS and Citi, then at JP Morgan for 10 years, including as its Head of Banking.
