    Mount Gibson Iron Ltd (ASX: MGX) is a Western Australia-based iron ore mining company. The company's flagship production asset is the Koolan Island mine in Western Australia's Kimberley region which has the highest grade ore reserve of any operating direct-shipping (DSO) Australian hematite mine. Mount Gibson also holds operating bulk commodity export facilities at Geraldton Port as well as active exploration tenements in WA's mid-western region.

He has over 40 years of design, process, project engineering, managerial, commercial and corporate experience having commenced his career in the Melbourne & Metropolitan Board of Works before joining engineering firm Sinclair Knight Merz in 1978. From initial technical roles, he assumed leadership roles in Sydney before returning to Melbourne as Associate Director and Victorian Branch Manager in 1985. In 1995 he was appointed Managing Director Elect and Director of Marketing before becoming Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in 1996.
