Accent Group Ltd (ASX: AX1)

The first ASX dividend stock that could be a buy in April is Accent Group. It is the leader in Australian footwear retail sector, owning popular brands such as HypeDC, Platypus, and The Athlete's Foot.

Bell Potter is positive about Accent Group's outlook and believes that its market leadership, strategic growth initiatives, and ongoing expansion into apparel will drive strong earnings (and dividend) growth.

In respect to the latter, the broker is forecasting fully franked dividends of 13.7 cents per share in FY 2025 and then 15.6 cents per share in FY 2026. Based on the latest share price of $1.80, this equates to attractive dividend yields of 7.6% and 8.7%, respectively.

Bell Potter currently has a buy rating and $2.75 price target on its shares.

APA Group (ASX: APA)

APA Group could be an ASX dividend stock to buy in April. It is an energy infrastructure company that owns a $27 billion portfolio of gas, electricity, solar and wind assets.

It is one of the most reliable dividend payers on the Australian share market. Proof of this, is that the company is on track to increase its dividend for the 20th year in a row.

Macquarie believes the dividend growth will continue and is forecasting dividends per share of 57 cents in FY 2025 and then 58 cents in FY 2026. Based on the current APA Group share price of $7.88, this equates to 7.2% and 7.35% dividend yields, respectively.

The broker currently has an outperform rating and $8.14 price target on its shares.

Rural Funds Group (ASX: RFF)

Finally, Rural Funds could be an ASX dividend stock to buy in April.

It is an agricultural-focused property company that owns a portfolio of high-quality and in-demand assets. This includes almond and macadamia orchards, premium vineyards, water entitlements, cropping and cattle farms.

The team at Bell Potter believes that its shares are seriously undervalued at current levels and expects some great dividend yields in the near term. The broker is forecasting dividends per share of 11.7 cents in FY 2025 and then 12.2 cents in FY 2026. Based on the current Rural Funds share price of $1.79, this will mean yields of 6.5% and 6.8%, respectively.

Bell Potter currently has a buy rating and $2.50 price target on its shares.
