After waiting patiently throughout the ASX August-September earnings season, owners of National Australia Bank Ltd (ASX: NAB) shares finally got to take a look at their own company's full-year earnings for FY2024 last week.

As we covered at the time, it was a bit of a mixed bag from NAB. The ASX 200 bank stock reported a 2% drop in revenues for the 2024 financial year, down to $20.65 billion. Cash earnings fell by an even more severe 8.1% to $7.1 billion, which drove a 6.1% decline in statutory net profits to $6.96 billion.

But it wasn't all bad news for shareholders. NAB revealed a final dividend of 85 cents per share (fully franked, of course).

That represents a 1.35% hike from the final dividend of 84 cents per share that investors enjoyed this time last year. This might explain why NAB shares have continued to push higher in the wake of these earnings.

But now that NAB shares' FY2024 results are out in the open, many investors might be wondering what to expect next from this ASX bank.

Well, that's what we'll be diving into today.

What does NAB shares' FY2025 calendar look like?

According to NAB itself, the next big occasion for investors is the bank's ex-dividend date for the final FY2024 dividend that we just discussed. And that happens to be tomorrow.

NAB has nominated Tuesday, 12 November, as its ex-dividend date for that final dividend of 85 cents per share. Payment day for this dividend will then roll around on 16 December next month, just in time for Christmas.

The next major date for shareholders to circle is 18 December 2024. That's when NAB has scheduled its net annual general meeting (AGM).

That's it for 2024.

The next occasion for shareholders to look forward to is 7 May 2025, when NAB has pencilled in its next half-yearly earnings report. That's when investors will get a look at how the first half of NAB's FY2025 is going.

NAB usually also releases a quarterly update in February, but the bank hasn't yet told investors when (or even if) that will happen next year.

NAB shares' next dividend payment will be revealed on 7 May, but the bank has already told shareholders that the ex-dividend for this payment will occur on 12 May 2025. Payment day follows soon after, on 2 July.

NAB's next full-year earnings will drop on 6 November 2025. The ex-dividend date will be 11 November, and the dividend payday will be 12 December, which will happily coincide with NAB's 2025 AGM.

Again, NAB typically also delivers a quarterly update in September. But no date has been set for that at the time of writing either.

Foolish takeaway

So that's what NAB's shareholder calendar for 2025 looks like. As always, these dates are subject to change, so don't be too surprised if the company tinkers with them down the line. But let's see if shareholders enjoy another bumper year next year.
