Plenty of ASX shares are hitting fresh record-high prices today alongside the S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO), which ascended to a new all-time peak of 8,148.7 points in early trading.

This has put a rocket under the ASX 200 today, with our benchmark index up 0.7% at its peak.
