The S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO) started the week out on the right foot today, lifting 0.1% to close Monday's session at 6,962 points.
The major news on investors' minds this morning came from overseas, however. Stock in Germany's Deutsche Bank tumbled on Friday amid liquidity concerns, as my Fool colleague Bernd reports.
Fortunately, the S&P/ASX 200 Financials Index (ASX: XFJ) wasn't obviously impacted by a potential shift in sentiment. It fell 0.2% today.
The S&P/ASX 200 Energy Index (ASX: XEJ), however, tumbled 2.3% after oil prices slumped around 1% on Friday.
Looking to the greener side of the index, the S&P/ASX 200 Utilities Index (ASX: XUJ) jumped 2.2%, helped along by shares in AGL Energy Limited (ASX: AGL) and Origin Energy Ltd (ASX: ORG). They both gained 3.3% today.
Meanwhile, the S&P/ASX 200 Real Estate Index (ASX: XRE) also outperformed, rising 1.1%.
But which ASX 200 share posted today's biggest gain? Let's take a look.
