A number of ASX resources shares have been having a particularly strong session on Wednesday.
Three such shares are listed below. Here's why they are smashing the market today:
Atlantic Lithium Ltd (ASX: A11)
The Atlantic Lithium share price is up 15% to 81 cents. This follows the release of drilling results by the Ghana-based lithium explorer this morning. CEO Lennard Kolff commented: "The latest infill drilling results from within the current Resource at the Ewoyaa Main deposit have returned multiple high-grade pegmatite intervals over 1.5% Li2O and up to 95m long with the hole ending in mineralisation, providing further confidence in future Resource to Reserve conversion."
Antilles Gold Ltd (ASX: AAU)
The Antilles Gold share price is up 15% to 4.6 cents. This is despite there being no news out of the gold explorer. Though, it is worth noting that the company's shares crashed lower on Tuesday and have now rebounded back to previous levels. That decline appears to have been triggered by Antilles Gold's quarterly update, which revealed a cash balance of just $2.8 million at the end of September. Based on its quarterly spending, this equates to 1.23 quarters of available funding.
Winsome Resources Ltd (ASX: WR1)
The Winsome Resources share price is up a massive 46% to 76 cents. After the market close on Tuesday, the lithium explorer released further data from its Adina project in Quebec, Canada. That data was very positive and complements the significant pegmatite intercepts announced last week. Investors appear optimistic that Winsome could be sitting on a sizeable mineral resource. Management advised that samples and cores have been dispatched for analysis and laboratory results which will be reported in full in a future report.
