The S&P/ASX 200 (Index:^AXJO)(ASX:XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index:^AXAO) (ASX:XAO) ended up on Wednesday, here are 8 ASX shares you missed.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Wednesday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.61% to 7,055.30
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.47% to 7,185.30
  • AUD/USD at US 67 cents
  • Gold at US$1,565.96 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$54.91 a barrel

One of the best-performing ASX 200 shares today was education business Idp Education Ltd (ASX: IEL), its share price rose 28.4% after investors learned about its FY20 half-year result.

Fish company Tassal Group Limited (ASX: TGR) saw its share price soar 11.9% after reporting its half-year result.

The Carsales.com Ltd (ASX: CAR) share price went up 8.3% after the company impressed with its overseas divisions.

Auto parts business Bapcor Ltd (ASX: BAP) reported another increase its in pro forma profit and dividend in its half-year result, sending its share price up 6.1%.

Vitamin business Blackmores Limited (ASX: BKL) suffered a share price drop of 12.8% after revealing company problems and issues relating to the coronavirus.

Orora Ltd (ASX: ORA) was another to release its result, but the share price fell 4.1% in response.

The Downer EDI Limited (ASX: DOW) share price fell 2.7% after the contractor engineering business released its result.

Finally, the share price of CSL Limited (ASX: CSL) went up around 1% after the healthcare giant impressed again with its half-year result.
