The S&P/ASX 200 (Index:^AXJO)(ASX:XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index:^AXAO) (ASX:XAO) finished down on Thursday, here are 8 ASX shares you missed.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished lower on Thursday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.67% to 6.863.60
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.74% to 6,981.30
  • AUD/USD at US 69 cents
  • Gold at US$1,558.77 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$65.93 a barrel

One of the best-performing ASX 200 shares today was lithium miner Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS), its share price went up 10%.

The Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) share price jumped almost 8%, making it one of the best performers.

With the Iran situation settling down, gold miners dropped back a bit. The Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) share price fell 3.6% and the St Barbara Ltd (ASX: SBM) share price dropped 3.1%.

The share price of Suncorp Group Ltd (ASX: SUN) rose around 1% after providing a bushfire and hazard update.

The Woodside Petroleum Limited (ASX: WPL) share price fell 1.6% despite announcing a Senegal approval.

Elders Ltd (ASX: ELD) has seen its share price rise over 1% after providing a market update.

Finally, the share price of Bega Cheese Ltd (ASX: BGA) rose 3.7% after announcing the fire impact on its milk supply.
