ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Friday: 8 ASX shares you missed

The S&P/ASX 200 (Index:^AXJO)(ASX:XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index:^AXAO) (ASX:XAO) finished higher on Friday, here are 8 ASX shares you missed.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Friday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.55% to 6.709.80
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.57% to 6,816.50
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,466.23 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$63.59 a barrel

One of the best-performing ASX 200 shares today was the Avita Medical Ltd (ASX: AVH) share price, it went up 7.7%.

Another of today's leading performers was the IPH Ltd (ASX: IPH) share price which went up 5.3%.

Lithium-related businesses have done very well today, the Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS) share price rose by over 5% and the Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) share price increased by 4.6%.

The share price of Metcash Limited (ASX: MTS) dropped 6.9% after the company announced 7-Eleven would not be renewing its contract.

The share price of Mayne Pharma Group Ltd (ASX: MYX) fell 11% after holding its AGM today.

The Straker Translations Ltd (ASX: STG) share price fell 4.2% after it gave its result to the market.

Finally, the share price of Qantas Airways Limited (ASX QAN) rose by 1.6% after the airline announced some positive ACCC news regarding its proposed deal with BP.
