Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Friday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.20% to 6,730.80
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.20% to 6,839.00
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,504.09 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$64.86 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was the Premier Investments Limited (ASX: PMV) share price which climbed 15.3% after delivering its FY19 report.

Another top ASX 200 performer was the IOOF Holdings Limited (ASX: IFL) share price which rose almost 8% after winning against APRA in court.

The Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd (ASX: SOL) share price fell 3% today, wiping out the gains of yesterday.

Volatility continues for the iSignthis Ltd (ASX: ISX) share price, it rose 8.6% today.

The share price of Clover Corporation Limited (ASX: CLV) rose 12.8% higher after reporting its result.

The Sydney Airport Holdings Pty Ltd (ASX: SYD) share price fell 1.7% due to revealing another month of falling passengers in August 2019.

Brickworks Limited (ASX: BKW) saw its share price rise another 2% after getting approval to develop Oakdale West.

Finally, the share price of Coles Group Limited (ASX: COL) fell 1.3% after releasing its full 2019 annual report.
