Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Tuesday.

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was oil business Beach Energy Ltd (ASX: BPT), it rose another 10.4% after giving its quarterly report yesterday.
Buy now, pay later business Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) recovered an impressive 9.4% today, gaining back a bit of the lost ground over recent weeks.
In-fact, several 'growth' shares had strong days today with Altium Limited (ASX: ALU) and A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX: A2M) up 4.3% and 5.8% respectively.
The share price of Penthrox business Medical Developments International Ltd (ASX: MVP) gained 9.3% after releasing a promising trading update.
Natural beauty business BWX Limited (ASX: BWX) fell another 5% today after releasing a disappointing market update yesterday.
Gold miners didn't have a good day today after the market's recovery. Two of disappointing falls in the ASX 200 belonged to Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX: EVN) which was down 2.9% and Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) which declined 2.8%.
Finally, telecommunications business Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC) finished the day up 2.7% after holding its AGM and saying that it is making progress.
