The S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) appears set to rise around 18 points this morning following another strong session for international markets on Friday.

The ASX hit a 10-year high last week, driven in part by the strong performances of shares such as Fortescue Metals Group Limited (ASX: FMG), up 9.6%, Reliance Worldwide Corporation Ltd (ASX: RWC), up 7.7%, and Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: GXY), up 9.7%. All three shares could remain in focus today as a result of their strong performances from last week.
On the other hand, companies such as NIB Holdings Limited (ASX: NHF) and Brickworks Limited (ASX: BKW) struggled, slipping 3.6% and 3.3% respectively.
