When it comes to growth shares I think Australian investors are a lucky bunch.

But with so much choice it can be hard to decide which ones to buy. To help you on your way I have picked out three of my favourites at the moment. Here's why I think they are worth investing in today:

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL)

Thanks to a number of highly accretive acquisitions in its fast-growing digital segment, I believe Aristocrat Leisure is well-positioned to deliver bumper profit growth for the next few years at least. I was very impressed with the way the segment delivered the perfect mix of growth in users and in average revenue per user in FY 2017. I expect the popularity of its digital games and recent additions through acquisitions will further enhance its recurring revenues in FY 2018.

Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT)

This payments company is arguably one of the most exciting shares on the local market right now. Thanks to its incredible growth in market penetration, it is hard to find a retailer without an Afterpay logo in its window this Christmas. I believe the buy now, pay later platform is here to stay and expect it to launch overseas in the future. If Afterpay can penetrate the U.S. market, for example, then the sky is the limit for the company.

Helloworld Travel Ltd (ASX: HLO)

This fast-growing travel agent is often overlooked by investors due to the popularity of Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd (ASX: FLT) and Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB). But in my opinion it is the pick of the bunch. Due to the strong demand it is experiencing for its integrated service offering, management expects EBITDA to grow 21% year-on-year. This could be given a further boost by today's announcement of the acquisition of Magellan Travel Group for $32.5 million.

Motley Fool contributor James Mickleboro has no position in any of the stocks mentioned. The Motley Fool Australia owns shares of and has recommended Flight Centre Travel Group Limited. The Motley Fool Australia has recommended AFTERPAY T FPO, Helloworld Limited, and Webjet Ltd.
