Altium Limited (ASX: ALU) and Appen Ltd (ASX: APX) have certainly made a lot of shareholders happy.

Gentrack Group Ltd (ASX: GTK)
Gentrack (with a market value of about $470 million) supplies "essential operations software and consultancy services to over 150 utilities and airports in 20 countries".
It was founded over 25 years ago and has a long history of profitable growth.
Recently, the company upgraded its operating profit guidance for 2017 from NZ$20 million to NZ$24 million, a healthy 20% increase.
And last month it opened a new office in Singapore.
The Gentrack share price dropped by 3.2% on Tuesday and closed at $5.44, which might provide an opening.
Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX: HSN)
Hansen Technologies provides billing and customer care technologies for utilities, telcos and pay-TV to 600 clients in more than 80 countries.
Hansen, with a market cap of about $647 million, reported revenue of $174.7 million for FY2017, up 17.3% on the previous year.
The tech company's share price has dipped in the past year, going from $4.05 to close on Tuesday at $3.43.
And while its EBITDA dropped from $45.4 million for FY 2016 to $45.1 million for FY 2017, the company expects to boost profits for 2018.
Infomedia Limited (ASX: IFM)
Infomedia Limited develops and provides Software as a Service (SaaS) to the parts and services sector of the automotive industry.
Infomedia (with a market cap of $247 million) supplies online parts selling systems, data analysis, information research and other services.
It's been an up-and-down year for the Infomedia Limited share price, eventually gaining 8% over that period of time to settle on Tuesday at 79.5 cents.
