The Breville Group Ltd (ASX: BRG) share price hit a 52-week high of $11.34 today despite the company releasing no news to the market. Over September a number of directors have purchased shares in the company on market.
Breville is a kitchen appliance maker that makes common kitchen products such as kettles, toasters, microwaves, juicers and premium priced coffee machines. Breville sells its own branded products in Australia in major department stores and also sells its products in large overseas markets such as the US and UK.
In financial year 2017 Breville made a profit of $53.8 million on revenues of $605.7 million. It also delivered earnings per share of 41.4 cents and paid total franked dividends of 15 cents per share. The profit was up 7.3% on the prior year and revenues were up 5.1%.
According to the Financial Times analysts have an average of share price target on Breville of $10.50, with a high estimate of $11.25 and low estimate of $9.
