The local share market ended today's session flat following a mostly positive night for international equity markets.

- AUD/USD at US 79.89 cents
- Iron Ore at US$78.39 a tonne, according to the Metal Bulletin
- Gold at US$1,335.10 an ounce
- Brent oil at US$54.14 a barrel
A number of companies hit new heights today, including WiseTech Global Ltd (ASX: WTC), South32 Ltd (ASX: S32) and Worleyparsons Limited (ASX: WOR). The trio rose 3.3%, 0.3% and 1%, respectively.
The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) produced a strong return as well, lifting 2.8% after Credit Suisse increased its price target on the shares.
Sky Network Television Ltd (ASX: SKT) also jumped 4.6%, while Orocobre Limited (ASX: ORE) rose 4.9%.
Ardent Leisure Group (ASX: AAD) finished the session at the other end of the market, dropping 2.7%. ASX Limited (ASX: ASX) also had a day to forget, shedding 2.3%.
