The local share market ended today's session marginally lower, despite a positive beginning to the day.

The AMP Limited (ASX: AMP) share price sank 2.6% today after the company reported its first-half results. The company's underlying profit rose 4% year-on-year.
The Magellan Financial Group Ltd (ASX: MFG) share price declined 3.6%, as well, while Automotive Holdings Group Ltd (ASX: AHG) and Seven West Media Ltd (ASX: SWM) closed 2.7% and 3.5% lower, respectively.
Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC) ended the day 5.8% lower, despite the absence of any news from the company.
The Bellamy's Australia Ltd (ASX: BAL) share price, on the other hand, enjoyed a strong 7.8% rise to $8.84. The shares did trade as high as $9.05 during the session after the company announced its newly acquired Camperdown's CNCA suspended registration had been lifted.
Orora Ltd (ASX: ORA) also gained 9.2% and Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) bounced 3.8%.
