In afternoon trade the S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) has just edged into the red and is down almost 0.1% to 5,731 points.
Four shares which haven't let that hold them back are listed below. Here's why they are finishing the week with solid gains:
The Avz Minerals Ltd (ASX: AVZ) share price is up 13% to 8.8 cents despite there being no news out of the mineral exploration company. But as I said earlier, I believe the world class potential of the company's Manono lithium project in the Democratic Republic of Congo makes it one to watch in the future.
The Bubs Australia Ltd (ASX: BUB) share price has once again continued its incredible run and is up a further 14.5% to 55 cents. This latest gain means that the infant formula company's shares are up a staggering 77% just this week and over 300% in the last three months. Whilst I am a big fan of the company, I am concerned its shares may now have climbed too high too fast.
The Collection House Limited (ASX: CLH) share price is up 8% to $1.33. Although there was no news out of the debt collection services company, with its shares down sharply this year it appears bargain hunters may have swooped in today.
The Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB) share price has jumped 13% to $12.52 after the online travel agent completed the institutional component of a £200 million capital raising that will be used to buy UK-based business-to-business travel operator Jac Travel. Its shares were given a further boost this morning when Morgans upgraded its shares to an add rating with a $13.50 price target.
