The Suncorp Group Ltd (ASX: SUN) share price will be one to watch next week when the insurance giant announces its full-year results on Thursday August 3.
What should you look out for in its full-year results?
According to a research note out of Deutsche Bank this morning, the broker expects to see Suncorp deliver a 5% increase in full-year profit.
Its analysts expect earnings per share of 90 cents and a full-year dividend of 73 cents per share.
Another thing to look out for will be its insurance trading ratio (ITR). In the first-half Suncorp reported an underlying insurance trading ratio of 11%.
This was a huge improvement on the same period a year earlier when the measure of profitability was at 10.1%.
A reduction in the number of active claims to more normal levels means management believes it is on track to achieve an ITR of 12% in the near future.
