The Syntonic Ltd (ASX: SYT) share price has jumped 6% to 3.6 cents during trade today.
This latest gain means the mobile platform and services company's shares have now risen over 24% since the start of the month.
Why has it jumped today?
Today's gain is likely to be attributable to an announcement the company made this morning regarding its launch of an over-the-top content service in the United States.
The subscription service, known as Freeway Overpass, will provide unlimited mobile access on demand for over 140 Million AT&T and Verizon customers. The service starts at a cost of US$0.99 per day.
As well as Freeway Overpass, the company also offers another service called DataFlex. This allows businesses to manage split billing expenses for employees when using their personal mobile phones for work.
