The Brambles Limited (ASX: BXB) share price was slammed today following its earnings report, while the NIB Holdings Limited (ASX: NHF) share price soared following its own profit result.

For the first six months of financial year 2016, Brambles reported a 4% increase in revenue while its profit after tax sank 44% to US$162.3 million. The BXB share price slumped 9.9%.
Meanwhile, the NHF share price soared 8.3% to a new 52-week high following a strong result that saw its first-half net profit after tax (NPAT) rise 65% to $71.1 million. The NHF share price hit a top of $5.43 but ended the day at $5.10.
The Worleyparsons Limited (ASX: WOR) share price was a big mover as well, plummeting 12.8%. Oil Search Limited (ASX: OSH) shares also fell 1.7% while Bapcor Ltd (ASX BAP) fell 3.8%.
Small-cap chocolate maker Yowie Group Ltd (ASX: YOW) fell 4.8% as well with its shares hitting a fresh 52-week low today.
On a more positive note, Sirtex Medical Limited's (ASX: SRX) share price rose 3.1% and BlueScope Steel Limited (ASX: BSL) rose 4%.
oOh!Media Ltd (ASX: OML) rose 2.2% following another strong earnings result while APN Outdoor Group Ltd (ASX: APO) rose 3.2%. APN Outdoor and oOh!Media have proposed a merger which is still awaiting shareholder approval.
The Medibank Private Ltd (ASX: MPL) share price also rebounded 3% for the day.
