Watch out below! Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) and National Australia Bank Ltd (ASX: NAB) shares are being mercilessly sold down in morning trade.
At noon, shares of Australia's largest telecommunications company and business bank were down 2% and 2.8%, respectively, paring back much of the gains from a rally earlier this week.
With no material news released from either company, it appears the fall in share price is simply part of a fall in the broader market.
Is it time to buy Telstra and NAB shares?
Telstra and NAB shares are offering huge fully franked dividend yields at a time when interest rates are at record lows. Unfortunately, shares in both companies remain fairly priced at today's levels and, therefore, do not represent a compelling buying opportunity for savvy investors.
